Ask the event photographer to share your photos on Cosnap

A photographer catches your best moment and then disappears. One question to ask them gets the photo back to you.

Most of us have a photo like this. The photographer at the wedding caught you mid-laugh, or the one at the finish line caught you with your arms up. They showed you the preview, it was great, and you never saw it again. Usually nobody did anything wrong. The photos just never got shared properly.

The fix is simpler than it sounds: next time someone points a lens your way, ask them to use Cosnap. It uses face matching to get your event photos to you, at a wedding, a sports tournament, or a festival.

What you do, and what the photographer does

Setting it up takes three steps:

  • Get the iPhone app, or open users.cosnap.ai in any browser, and create an account in a couple of minutes.

  • Add a reference photo, a clear photo with only you in it, and switch face matching on so Cosnap knows who to look for.

  • Ask the photographer to upload their album to Cosnap. When they publish it, your matched photos appear in your account without you asking for them.

From a bride's big moment to your fastest finish-line sprint, that's how you get your sports or wedding photos with nothing more than a quick word with the photographer. Previews are free to browse, and the high-res version is a tap away when you want it for Instagram or a print.

Where this helps most

A few examples:

  • Weddings: that candid of you laughing with the groom should not take a scroll through a 500-photo shared album to find.

  • Sports: crossed the line or nailed a sideline cheer? Your photo comes straight to you instead of sitting in a photographer's export folder.

  • Events: concerts, festivals, galas. Every guest who has signed up gets their matches, with Cosnap working in the background.

All it takes is one line: "Hey, can you share these on Cosnap?" Photographers tend to like the ask, since it cuts their admin too.

It also works for private sessions

Face matching isn’t the only way photographers use Cosnap. For a private session, a photographer can put an album behind a password and share it only with the client, or share a single category with its own password.

Make the ask

Next time the shutter clicks at an event, tell the photographer about Cosnap, get the app and add your reference photo. It saves them admin and gets you the photo.
