Biometric Data Consent

How it Works

• Reference Image: You provide a selfie or reference photo.

• Extraction: Our system extracts unique facial geometry to create an encrypted numerical vector.

• Matching: This vector is compared against photos uploaded by event photographers.

• Delivery: When a match is found, the photo is automatically shared with your account.

Data Storage and Security

• Your biometric data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the United States.

• We utilize industry-standard AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS/SSL encryption in transit.

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your biometric identifiers to any third party for any reason.

Retention and Destruction

• Your facial embeddings are stored only while your account remains active.

• Upon account deletion, your biometric identifiers are removed from our active systems within 30 days.

• Backup copies in disaster recovery systems are permanently purged within 90 days.

• If your account remains inactive for a period of three (3) years, your biometric data will be permanently purged in accordance with our retention policy.

Your Rights and Choices

• Consent is Voluntary: You are not required to provide biometric consent to use the website, but you will not be able to use the automated photo-matching features of the app without it.

• Right to Withdraw: You can withdraw this consent at any time by disabling facial recognition in your App Settings or by deleting your account.

• Human Review: You have the right to request a human review of any automated match you believe is inaccurate.
