Content and Community Policy

Effective Date: 26 October 2026 · Last Updated: 26 October 2026

This policy applies to photos you add to Cosnap, including photos you add to an event as a guest. It forms part of the Cosnap Terms and Conditions, the User Agreement and the Event Guest Terms.

1. What you confirm when you upload

When you upload a photo, you confirm that:

  • you took it, or you have the right to share it;

  • it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright (for example, don't re-upload the professional photographer's photos);

  • sharing it with this event's host and guests doesn't break any law or anyone's reasonable expectation of privacy.

2. What you must not upload

  • nudity or sexual content

  • anything sexualising or endangering a child

  • violence, hate or harassment

  • photos taken somewhere private (such as a bathroom or changing room)

  • photos of someone who asked not to be photographed

  • spam, or photos that aren't from this event

Photos that include children are part of family events; share only photos you would be comfortable with the child's parent seeing, and remove any if a parent asks.

3. How to report a photo

Report a photo from the photo's menu ("Report this photo"). The reasons are:

  • Not appropriate

  • Harassment or bullying

  • I'm in this photo and want it removed

  • Spam or not from this event

  • Something else

If you're in a photo and want it removed, report it with "I'm in this photo and want it removed".

4. What happens after a report

  • Any guest can report a photo from the photo's menu. The host is notified.

  • A photo that 3 guests report is hidden for everyone until the host reviews it.

  • The host can pass a report to Cosnap. Cosnap reviews reports it receives within 24 hours and may keep the photo, remove it, or remove the uploader.

  • Cosnap may hide or remove any photo, or suspend an account, that breaks these terms or the law, or that is reported and found to be a problem.

5. Urgent or illegal content

To report urgent or illegal content directly, email info@cosnap.ai, or use Profile → Contact Support in the app.

6. Copyright complaints

If you believe a photo infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@cosnap.ai.
